These are my favorite rain boots

"We only wear Hatley rain boots in our house. We can trust that no water will reach our babies and toddlers feet. And they look great!"

Elisbeth M. (5/5)

Great!

"The Hatley rain boots in general are my favorite. They never crack, last throughout the seasons and are comfortable the colours are vibrant and do not fade - or barely with how rough my boys play! As far as sizing, although I would say that they are true to size with some give, I always get a size bigger so that they last for spring and fall and they aren't wobbly or difficult to walk in even with the larger size. They are both lightweight and durable. My boys are 2 and 4. My 4 year old has thicker feet, this model is better for my 2 year old and the other model is roomier at the wide part of the foot and better suited for my 4 year old - if that makes sense."

Daughter loves these

"My daughter was pumped about these. I think they are still a bit big, but they seem easy for her to move around in. They are very light and easy for a 2-year-old to put on once they learn how. They either fit true to size or a bit small -- I'm not sure because I bought a size larger for her to grow into."

Terra M. (5/5)

Seem great

"These are currently way to big for my kiddo, but I think he will love them. I bought large on purpose and he seems to like the look, which is a start. He does not like walking in them as they are currently 1. 5-2 sizes too big."

Great rain boot!

"Extremely light and flexible. My nephew loves them!"

Anca L. (5/5)

Great choice for active kids!

"Love these soft packables. The kids don’t fight about wearing boots to school on rainy days now, because they can run easier in these. Great boots, company, and service."

CAROLE P. (5/5)

ALMOST a minimalist/barefoot boo

"I bought these on clearance (a size up for child, so haven't tested them yet) because they looked like they could potentially come close to being minimalist shoes. Minimalist footwear (aka barefoot) is low weight, zero drop heels and flexible throughout the foot to allow the body's many foot muscles to flex, work and develop naturally. Heels (on children especially because of their shorter stature) throw muscular alignment way off and can lead to lower backpain down the road. Narrow footwear pinches and restricts toes which are important for balance. Do these pass as minimalist? ALMOST! SO CLOSE! They are fairly lightweight and if they lost the heel their weight would probably be perfect. They're flexible throughout the sole also. I feel like they'll be narrower in the toebox than preferred once my child fits them but a wide box isn't always standard in minimalist shoes either. My only problem is the heel. It's not too extreme in the size 10 shoe. I feel like it'll be tolerable for a rainboot since it's not everyday wear. I'm worried though that the boot I bought for my younger child the heel is too high for the size of the boot. I'm very worried that the heel is so narrow too! It feels like it'll leave the 3 year old wobbly and I just hope he doesn't sprain an ankle. Hatley, get rid of the heel and you'll have a super cute minimalist boot!"

Jen J. (4/5)

Grandson approved

"I purchased 2 pairs of boots and my Grandson preferred these. The pictures were part of it but the ease of putting them on and off at daycare was also a factor. I was concerned that they would not have a sturdy heel but they are perfect."

Leslie L. (5/5)

Perfect

"My son loves these. We preferred the size 12 so it would fit longer. They fit with room to grow, but aren’t clonky. I was worried since they are bendable (to pack into bags), that they would be too flimsy and maybe not hold up as well in the rain. I’m glad to see, I was wrong!"

"Our 2-year old won’t take them off!"
