Annual Supply Chains Act Report
The Canadian Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (Supply Chains Act) became effective in 2024. This legislation mandates that companies like Hatley publish an annual report detailing the risks of forced labour and child labour within their supply chains, as well as the steps taken to mitigate and prevent these risks.
We believe that transparency and accountability are crucial in upholding human rights, and we aim for these reporting requirements to encourage greater responsibility within Hatley and the broader industry.
